Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant created history by becoming the most expensive player ever in IPL auctions. The Lucknow Super Giants secured his services for an astounding ₹27 crore, surpassing the previous record held by Shreyas Iyer, who went to Punjab Kings for ₹26.75 crore.

Venkatesh Iyer: Kolkata Knight Riders made a bold move, signing the versatile all-rounder for ₹23.75 crore                                    Yuzvendra Chahal: The Indian spinner fetched ₹18 crore from Punjab Kings, becoming the most expensive Indian spinner in IPL history. Arshdeep Singh: Retained by Punjab Kings using the Right to Match (RTM) card for ₹18 crore, Arshdeep was the first player to be sold at the auction.
